Peter Frampton<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n

1. First instrument he learned to play was his grandmother\u2019s banjolele, described as ukulele shaped like a banjo. He was seven years old when he taught himself and later recounts the memory in \u201cVaudeville Nanna and the Banjolele<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

2. By the age of 12 he formed a band called \u201cThe Little Ravens.\u201d<\/p>\n

3. His fifth solo album \u201cFrampton Comes Alive!\u201d was recorded in 1975, a double album priced at $7.98, and sold more than 17 million copies worldwide. It is celebrating it\u2019s 40th Anniversary and available on iTunes<\/a> for $10.99 including all 14 songs.<\/p>\n

4. He was once featured in a GEICO television commercial<\/a> playing and saying a few lines of, \u201cDo You Feel Like I Do,\u201d using only the \u2018Framptone Talk Box.\u2019<\/p>\n

5. Won a Grammy for Best Pop Instrumental Album in 2007 for Fingerprints.<\/p>\n

7. Appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show<\/a> in 2010 as one of her favorite musicians.<\/p>\n

8. Gibson Custom released the Peter Frampton \u201cPhenix\u201d replica of his famous \u201cTriple-Pickup\u201d Les Paul Guitar. Only 35 were made and each one signed and approved by Frampton. Originally priced at $20,000 each and sold out within two weeks of being offered to the public.<\/p>\n

9. Currently lives in Nashville, TN but has also lived in London, New York, Florida, Los Angeles,CA, Scottsdale, AZ and Cincinatti, OH.<\/p>\n
